Why Warakamb Development Foundation?

The national Government of PNG has layed out its goals and Visions for the country in its Vision 2050 paper.  It is then making funding available to try and work towards those aim.
In summary, the aim is create a healthy, wealthy and educated population by 2050 to make PNG one of the richest black nation in the world.

Most of the delivery of this grand vision will be in the districts. However, most districts do not have the capacity or means to implement the vision. They do not have the ideas and manpower on the ground. Some remote areas such as the Warakamb valley are at risk of missing out on government services due to its location and remoteness.

Through the Warakamb development foundation, we aim to help with the implementation and provide capacity and ideas to implement the vision 2050. We plan to implement the grand plan on a small scale and try and make a difference. Our aim is to work with any government or non government group, including donor agencies, churches, NGOs, LLGs, and the national government
